The Role

Own AI/ML initiatives end-to-end, from strategy and architecture through to implementation, deployment and delivery.
Build and lead the AI/ML team, initially consisting of 3–4 engineers.
Establish the technical direction and roadmap for AI capabilities across our products.

What You'll Do

Build and lead the AI/ML team, including hiring, mentoring and technical development.
Design and deploy production-grade AI systems using LLMs, RAG and intelligent automation.
Set up and maintain MLOps pipelines for model training, deployment and monitoring.
Work closely with full-stack development teams to integrate AI capabilities into real-world products.
Define best practices for AI development, deployment, scalability, security and performance.

What You Bring

3–5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML engineering or a related field, with 2+ years leading AI/ML work or teams.
Strong hands-on experience with Python, API development and backend integration.
Hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP and machine learning, including production deployments.
Strong understanding of MLOps and experience with tools such as MLflow, Airflow, Kubeflow, Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex and HuggingFace.
Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, FAISS or Weaviate.
Strong experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

What You'll Do

Build and ship real products and client solutions across web and mobile.
Work across different languages and technology stacks such as MERN, React Native, .NET, Ruby on Rails, etc., and pick up new technologies quickly.
Own features end-to-end, from design and development through to deployment.
Work closely with the development team to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
Mentor junior developers and gradually grow into a Tech Lead role.

What You Bring

3–5 years of hands-on Full Stack development experience.
Very strong fundamentals in data structures, databases, APIs, system design and clean code.
Ability to work across different languages, frameworks and technology stacks rather than being limited to one technology.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
Good communication skills and a natural drive to take ownership and lead.
Strong sense of honesty, ownership and long-term commitment.
Willingness to work fully on-site from Ahmedabad / Gandhinagar.
